Sorry I know it is not the best place!
But after one "Uninstall" I got Dell WireLess 1397 WLAN MINI-Card #2
I don't have #1 but somehow Vista named my device number #2...
How can I remove this "#2"?!
    Thank you

Go to Control Panel => System and Maintenance => System => Advanced System Settings => Environment Variables and create a new "System variable" called

    "devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices" with a value of "1"

Then reopen the device manager, and select View / Show Hidden Devices
You will now be able to see both #1 and #2, remove (Uninstall) both of them, reboot your PC, windows should find the hardware again, provide it with the drivers and voilĂ  => no more #2.

    Simple, ey ? ;)
