I just reinstalled XP on my E1505 and it made me add a user account. So every time I boot up I have to click my name (and that takes time). How do I delete that?

    Thanks!

Is it asking you to use a password?

Go into the control panel and click user accounts. Then delete the one you don't want.

Or download Microsoft TweakUI for Windows XP and configure Autologon for that user (in the Logon group of options).

No it's not asking me for a password. Just the little icon with my name next to it that I have to click before it lets me into XP.

See if you can delete the account like I told you in my previous post. It sounds like you made an account and just don't have it password protected. If you are the only person using the laptop just delete the account and you should not have to do that anymore.
