Hello. I've got a Vostro 1500 and messed it up with wrong drivers etc. So I want to restore it. I understand there is a 'recovery partition' to do this, well, any idea how to use/activate this feature?

Just look at the manual, should be the function key combined with one of the f keys. I assume you should press it during boot

thanks 'trooper_gs'. i would have done as you suggested, but strangely since booting up again this morning, things have corrected themselves, so no need to re-start....yet! :)
