    I ordered an Inspiron 1720 on 8/5. I was looking for a desktop replacement/gaming and some school work notebook.
    Here's my setup:
    Inspiron 1720-Alpine White
    2.0 GHz processor
    Glossy widescreen
    256MB Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT
    2GB RAM
    120GB(5400RPM) hard drive
    CD/DVD writer
    Dell Wireless
    9 Cell Battery
    -came to around $1600 with a bunch of security(Lowjack, McAfee, etc.) and Office included.

    I really want to play Oblivion and other graphics intensive games. Please let me know if I made a good choice as far as specs go.
