Hi guys. I've got a Vostro 1700 and this morning when I lowered the brightness down just one unit (it was at max) I heard a humming sound... I though it was the HD but it was only when the brightness was not on max so I reckon it is a "problem" with the graphics card? It's a.. 8600. Has anyone else noticed this? Please do note that I did it at 7am when it was very, very quiet my flat. I'll check at night if it happens again. Anyway, anyone noticed the same sound?
    Cheers!
