    Please look at this picture

    It shows my Laptop.
    You can see there is grey shine all over the display. so because of the "shine" the fonts looks to soft.

    in bottom is everything with "grey Shine" in Top ist good.
    But all over the display there is grey shine.

    Yes its Anti Glare (1280x800 = WXGA)

    edit: Now i put my ears on the Laptop and my HDD makes noises.
    I think i will say goodbye to Dell.
    Its better to send it back and buy new one instead of repairing everything. :D
    I try to get my adviser, but she is busy. so i have to wait a little bit for call-back.

    Perhaps.
    The Case of the Notebook is very very good. I have never seen so much stability. Also the DisplayCase ist very good. The Performance ist also very good.

    The only Problem for me is the Display. I cant accepted it.
    In Favor it costed to much.
    Today some german will get their Notebooks wit AntiGlare. Its my hope that i i'm unlucky.
    If not, then i have to say goodbye because i only want a AntiGlare Display.

    larson got the same screen as you, and he's not having the same problem. It's probably just a one off thing, nothing to worry about just return your laptop for another one.

    i talked to dell.
    UPS will fetch it on monday. First i will get my money back.
    Its easier for me to order a new one, after some reviews wie the antiglare display. It will also take time to fix it.
    The madam on telephone said to me, that a 1:1 new Laptop (because of HDD, TFT) will take long time. The 1520 is too treasured.

    I reinstalled Dell MediaDirect, because that's just pimpin'. It allows you to access your Music/Videos when your computer is off! You just press the MediaDirect button (which is to the left of the power button) and you can access your music/videos in about 15 seconds.


    Hey, I apologize for the delay, but how do I figure out how many processes I'm running again? Do I have to individually count them in the Task Manager? I know thats not that big of a pain in the ass, but I think I remember seeing somewhere a number of how many processes I'm running, and usually that number is more correct, thats why.

    Also guys, I'm listening to some Pink Floyd right now on the notebook, and the sound quality I think is awesome, and the max volume is perfect.

    That sounds like LCD backlight bleeding to me on the anti-glare thing. It could happen to any LCD. I wonder what panels they are using? I am willing to bet that kabua has a Chimei panel. From my understanding they are the worst for that kind of thing. I hope that they are using Samsung panels though, they are so much nicer.

    Those are the exact dates I got. Mine's in the Build stage right now, so I hope I get it a bit earlier than the est. delivery date, as my school starts Aug 22, and I think I'm out of town around the 16th.
