    I Need A External Battery Charger for 1545

    My Mom's 1545 has quit charging her battery and I'm trying to find an external charger online but the lowest I've found so far that's supposedly compatible with the 1545 is 50 something dollars or more. Does anyone know where I could get one that's not as expensive?

    Make sure you know its the charger and not the battery. Hint, doe the notebook work while plugged in? Does the battery charging light come on? If so, it might be a dead battery.

    As for the external charger, I think 50 dollars seems like a fair price. Amazon has one but its cost 75.

    When it's plugged in the laptop will work but battery won't charge at all. When it's off the white light on the front stays on.

    I had the same problem and I found the external battery charger for 1545 from jcbarn.com

    It works well and it is over 7 month.
