I ordered an e1505, loaded, just before I found out there was a 1520 in the pipeline. For what I got, it's about $500 less than the most similarly configured 1520. Even if there were a $500 coupon for the 1520, I'd still be saving $300. I'm not a super techie nor an I a gamer so the 1505 is itself probably more than I need, but I was concerned not to have a machine that would seem hoplelessly outdated in three years--rather than just somewhat outdated. So I'm sticking with the 1505 order.

Judging from some of the comments here, I see some disappointment about the features of the 1520 in terms of what you get for the money.

I also discovered that you can still get a 1505 by clicking through one of the Dell coupons on this site, for example.

And I did find it interesting that the projected ship date for my 1505, ordered 6-16 will be one day after the projected ship date for a 1520, if I ordered it today.
