I think adding the 3yr Accidental for 99 dollars is a great move. That 99 dollars will be well spent the first time you drop, or spill coffee on it! Lets face it, THEY"RE CALLED ACCIDENTS FOR A REASON! Unless you only use your laptop in a padded rubber room(i'm sure there are a few of you here!), without food or water and no other humans around....you probably won't need the Accidential coverage. But if you're like the "average" laptop user who travels(air, sea or land). Eats and drinks while working on your lappy and does have occasional human contact....the coverage will come in handy!

@M1530 - just do it! Believe me, you will feel better afterwards! I put it off for sooo long...And, it finally came down to the screen size (bet. the 1530 vs. 1330) - and I finally went w/the 1530, & I feel I will be happy!

@outkastland - Thanks ;) total cost after taxes - $1,540.38 (I added the 3 year, bumped it up) - I'm supposed to get a 4% DPA - which I will see at final invoice, I guess ~ no worries ~ still think the deal is fine.

@MAC5217 - Yes, the 3yr accidental was needed - didn't want it at first, but then I thought "I am accident prone" sometimes, so I did ~ and I just had the incident the other day w/my cat knocking my coffee over on me when I was at my computer so, it is a good idea!!! :)

I can't wait to get the notebook - As my friends would say "settle down"!! Their stopping by later w/a gift (a nice bottle of vino') to celebrate the fact that I finally purchased my notebook!!!! :)))

Makes sense, the thin and light LED is worth it. I went for the 1330 for portability.

those specs are pretty much what i'd get if i decide on the 1530, probably with a 9 cell batt to start though (does anyone know if this would make the laptop awkward and have a reason why i should stick with the 6?)

Look around for some photos. I find the 9cell battery a little bit bulky. I would buy a 6cell for sure, or both of them (I think it's not much more to buy both with the laptop)
