    i got a dell insprion 6400 and i was wonderin with the audio controls on the every front of the computer under the pad thingy can i change the controls to use them in a different program other than window media player or do they only work for window

    I know the volume buttons on the front work all around for any media player and just normal web surfing. The only other program I use besides window media player is iTunes and the buttons in the front work with it to except for the mute button which will not stay on mute on rare occasions.

    There's a plugin for Winamp.

    You can remap keys (including those ones) with AutoHotKey and a bit of know-how.
