So, after chasing down the DHL man who kept driving up and down my street and then nearly delivered my M1530 to the wrong house, I finally have it here on my desk. I couldn't be happier with it so far. Upon initial boot everything looked fantastic, all my hardware checks were successful, so now I'm onto reloading a fresh install of Vista.

So this post is for the rest of you still waiting patiently on your orders. Sure, there's a chance you could end up with a lemon, but, like other users have said here, you're only really hearing about the people that come here to post their problems/concerns, and in actuality, that's probably a small majority of the XPS owner population.

My bigger concerns were with DHL... whom I have had the great displeasure of servicing my delivery needs in the past before... so.. here's to all of you waiting on your systems, hope for the best, plan for the worst, never expect DHL to do anything right and expect to have to chase them down the street.

    CONGRATS on your notebook!

I been saying this all along!

My bigger concerns were with DHL... whom I have had the great displeasure of servicing my delivery needs in the past before... so.. here's to all of you waiting on your systems, hope for the best, plan for the worst, never expect DHL to do anything right and expect to have to chase them down the street.
Yep and why I insisted on FedEX and got them instead of DHL.
