This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just got my new Inspiron 9300 and I'm extremely happy. There are no dead pixels that I can see, the 60 GB HD is a Fujitsu 5400 rpm (not 4200) and so far the wireless isn't being stupid.

    After a week of reading the horror stories some people have experienced, I'm glad to say things are looking good.

    I'm reinstalling XP now, so once that phase is over, I can rest easy I think.
