    I just received my laptop! but...

    Ok the good news is that I just received my apline white m1330 today! that I ordered on last wednesday, oct 24th. I was surprised to receive it this early :)
    Then I was surfing around to check the internet and found out about the new DELL promo, offering $200 gift card to purchase over $1,499.

    Heck, I spent about $1,700 for this laptop just few days ago, and now they are offering $200 reward??????

    Customer service is closed right now so I emailed them to send me the gift card as well. do you think they will allow this? Based on their reputation and past history, my chances are low i think...

    what should I do if they refuse to send me the $200 gc. Should I return it and re-order? Let me know

    If you call and let them know, they will probably credit you the amount in the form of some kind of card. Otherwise, you will have to return and reorder. It's def. worth a shot to call tomorrow when they open up.

    I ordered a m1330 during the time of the promotion and I'm confused. Is the $200 credit only for buying things on dell's site?
    Or is it like a $200 rebate for the m1330?

    It sounds like you're satisfied with your new laptop. I wouldn't suggest risking returning a good notebook for one that may have defects. Not worth $200.

    It is for XPS, indeed. I tried to re-order it with same spec, epp discount and $200 gift card promo appeared at the checkout.

    then threaten a return and see if they give it to you then. else you need to send it back and reorder a new one to get it.

    It is glossy and I love it =]
    I don't see any difference between yours and mine just by looking at the photo. Never seen pearl white in real life so I can't really compare their 'glossiness'
