I just received the M1210 from dell.
I guess I got the Toshiba screen, should I worry about that? cuz I saw many posts about toshiba screen being bad...I didn't notice anything yet. But I am not really good at catching things...I am just reformatting the HD right now...Too many bloatwares...First time buying dell, and really surprised..
Well I will see how it performs..Hope nothing goes wrong...

These screens differ in quality from each other. If yours work well, be happy about it. People may say that in general, Toshiba screen are bad, but there are always exceptions. If your screen does not have any major problems, but contend with it. Also, if you notice any problems, Dell would replace/fix your laptop within the first year.

The problem with Toshiba screen is related to picture quality; it is not technical nor build quality related. Normally those have light leakage and pale (dull) colors. But Toshiba may have improved the quality lately. If you are happy with picture quality, then nothing else matters.

This is how a light leaking screen would look like; black area close to the bottom of the screen is leaking light making it look almost white.

EDIT : If you already don't know, this is how to identify the monitor :
    Device Manager > Monitors > Generic PnP Monitor > Properties > Details > Hardware IDs > MONITOR\ModelNumber

    AUO3214 : AUO (considered best)
    SEC3157 : Samsung (considered good / midrange)
LCD58E : Toshiba (generally considered below average)

Also bear in mind many more people come to these forums to complain about soemthing than to praise it, bottom line, if your happy with it thats all that matters, some folks get bad products, on the other hand some folks just have their expectations too high.
