    I know this has been overtalked but Inspiron or Vostro?

    I can't decide between the Inspiron 1520 or the Vostro 1500. They come out the same price and same specifications. The only difference is the color of the casing. Do the screens of both have complaints of graininess or just the 1520? Are there any other differences at all like DDR2 or 3 memory? Really what it comes down to, is there any reason I should choose one over the other except for the color difference? Thanks for the help!!

    I think the screens are basically the same based on what has been on the board. Most people feel that the main difference is the price so if it is coming out the same after coupons then it's more of a personal opinion between color.

    Some people have mentioned wobbly batteries in the vostros, I don't think I have seen that in any inspiron comments so it is one thing to be noted.

    when i configured, the inspiron came out to be like 75 more than the vostros and thats with eep and student discount coupon on the inspiron.
