I have a Dell Inspiron 1100 Laptop. I want to restore the system like it was when it came from the factory, but i do not have the CD for it. I have tried everything and i can not get it to restore. Is there any way to do so without The CD's that was suppose to be with it. Please help !!!!!!

If you no longer have the restore partition on your drive, and you didn't make a restore CD, there's pretty much no way you can restore the factory image. You can, however, do a clean install of Windows... just get a copy of the Windows specified by your CoA (doesn't need to be Dell branded), install, and activate with said CoA.

IMO it's just easier to buy a corresponding Dell disc (Home, Pro, Media Center) and reimage your machine and download the corresponding drivers from Dell's Support site. The discs are cheap.
