I tried to issue a refund for my Dell Vostro 1500 last night and after 40 minutes of hell they told me they would have to issue a restocking fee. This was complete bull.
I am going to call back now because I received an email from Dell Small Business with an ad saying the Vostros have a 30 day money bakc guarantee with no restocking fee.
Does anyone have a link on the Dell site or any other way I can state my case to Dell to get out of the restocking fee?
Thanks

That email should do it, shouldn't it?

Yeah, quote the mail, or just call up and pretend to be a new customer, ask about it, then when told there is no restock fee roll into "then please look at order such and such and fix it for me".

Well I talked to Dell for a long ass time and finally got the return finalized. He claimed to me that his coworker made "a serious error" in giving me the restocking fee. I am hoping all the problems are resolved now. He gave me his extension and all that stuff and email.
I'll let you guys know how it goes. If you are trying to make a return and you are getting charged a restocking fee (for Vostro) make sure you don't pay it.
I need help fast
