    Hey guys, im new here and i just got a new inspiron 6400.

    I installed media player and something is really bothering me. I dont know wat happened but each time i turn on my laptop the windows media player file opens for no reason. Any1 know what to do to turn this off.

    any help would be super

    Check in Start->Programs->Startup. If MediaPlayer appears in there then delete. Also, check your services located under adminstrative tools in the control panel and make sure Media Player is not set to automatic.

    hey supergenius, thx for replying. But my problem is actually the fodler where u find all the windows media programs pops open when i turn on the laptop. i dont know why though its not the prgrram that opens its the fodler???
