I recently formated my computer following Southern Girl's guide and deleted partitions 2 (XP) and 4(Restore). After reinstalling Xp everything was fine except media direct. So I try to repair it following the Guide to repair Media direct, and it does not work. When I tried to use media direct it started windows. So i turned off the computer and rebooted..... nothing happens i just get a black screen right after the Dell logo with a flashing cursor line on the top left hand corner! I can type anything and nothing works.

What do i need to do!!!
I checked my partitions from booting through the windows Xp cd and I have the Diagnostics partition, back up , and xp, and about 4500mbs of unpartitioned space. But the drive letters of the back up partition and xp have changed. Backup is C: and Xp is D:. I just want it to work again can anyone help me please?
