So I got the XPS M1530 Config that comes with a $70 GC and need some suggestions on what to spend it on. I'm really looking for suggestions on Speakers (2.1 or better), Laptop Cooler, a USB gamepad (unless it comes with rechargeable batteries to go wireless), lock or any other good accesories.
I'm not looking for a case as I already have one. Might consider a mouse especially if its cheap, good and bluetooth capable. Thanks in advance and remember I'm looking for the most bang for buck and I can't really go add money to the gift card. Maybe $10 max I could add with a credit card.

Depends what your main priorities are; if you game a lot, then maybe a notebook cooler and xbox controller will suit your needs. If you're into music, get some nice headphones or some speakers. etc. etc.

I do like to listen to music and do it every day; either from my zune or desktop, but I want to be able to have some nice speakers to hook up to my laptop or zune in my room. Is a laptop cooler even that necessary? I'm getting the 9cell battery so that should give me some air flow right? -

im getting:
$50 Zalman NC1000 cooler
$30-$40 Wireless Router or a Kensington lock
already have a USB hub, mouse, flash drive....
hopefully a 10% accessories coupon would sweeten the deal
EDIT: woot, cheapest lock only $16..... so i guess tax would use up the remainding $4... -
Hey!
Hmmmm....
How about a notebook bag (if you don't already have one)
and a Bluetooth Wireless Mouse?
And, yes to answer your question on the 9 cell battery...You will indeed, get some great ventilation allowance with it. I have the 9 cell and love it. It *props* up the back a bit (awesome for typing, and when using it on your lap), and allows for that ventilation ;
Good luck on those accessory choices!

Oh, I haven't gotten anything like that yet. Oh well, 10% when I'm spending only $70 isn't that much away. I can spend those 7 bucks. lol -
And, cool on the bag for your lappy.
Yar..you might want to go a different route on the BT Mice.
Do you have a router already? What about headphones?Just thinking since you like to listen to music.
Though the one I received with my 1530, is actually quite nice~!

I have a router, actually we have like five total cause my dad gets free stuff all the time at work. (He uninstalls Time Warner cable) Still waiting for a free N Router, but no rush there. G is fine.
I have decent earbuds (skullcandies with volume control) that I just sent yesterday in the mail to get fixed/replaced. Hope I get a free Creative ones I hear they're quite nice.
Right now I'm considering: Cooler, Lock, Speakers, maybe mouse or gamepad. -
Good reviews on it! I had it...and it didnt work for *me* at that time, so I passed it onto a friend.
Nice on the Router situation~!Your lucky~!
If, I was working more *desktop* it would've been great
I hope you get the Creative earbuds, also...they work very nice!
