    I had ordered inspiron 1500 and got the color JET BLACK, does that mean the whole laptop is black or just the top color?

    And also whats the ORIGNAL color of 1500 called? Because i dont want Jet Black i want the orignal color

    Help please

    the rest of the laptop = silver(ish)
    only the top is black

    as for the original color ... i don't know if there is one (I would expect it to be silver as well, but that isn't available) ... standard, the black is selected

    1500? Or the 1520? They are two different units.

    The 1500 is fully black, the 1520 has a optional coloured lid(default is black) with a silver body.

    He probably means the Inspiron 1520 since he says "Jet black".

    But yeah only the cover is black.

    i just looked at 'inspiron' and assumed he ment 1520 (it's easier to confuse 1500 <> 1520 than to mix up Vostro <> Inspiron :) )

    Ok i guess its going to take even longer for them to ship if i make changes, i will just leave it

    Does someone have JET BLACK? Does it look good?

    what color did you want??? the default color is black so unless you picked a different one they are going to send you black.. personally i think ill have to stay with black i called today to switch to blue and was told it would not ship till oct 28th... thats insane... im goin to try white tomm and see how long that would be

    the black is the same as the vostro.. its a flat black finish not glossy kinda feels rubbery in a way.. it does pick up fingerprints VERY EASY IMO.. thats the one thing i HATED about the vostro color.. this is only the outside cover the inside didnt pick up prints hardly at all.. ill miss the all black of the vostro.. the inspiron is silver inside and black on the bottom..
