    I never thought the words "testing stage" would make me feel so HAPPY.

    So, before I nodded off to sleep I decided to call my favorite automated hotline. As I expected to hear the same 'build stage' spiel, I was pleasantly surprised to hear my Studio 1735 had entered the testing stage within the past hour! There is still hope for all my fellow Studio customers here! I ordered on 8/8/08 by the way.

    I'm told that my system should move to the delivery stage on Monday or Tuesday. I bloody well hope so!

    The automated hotline...can be very *addictive* when you are waiting on your new lappy to be built, shipped and arrive at your front door! ;) :)

    Is it me, but from some of the posts I have been reading (like these) have shown an improvement in the build stage ~ delivery stage? ;) :) :cool:

    Must be. I ordered my Studio 17 on August 9th and it's being delivered on Monday. Actually, it's only 5 miles down the road right now, but DHL 2-day delivery doesn't include Saturdays,

    I should have seen this coming...I just received an email telling me my order has been delayed. RESD: 8/25.

    Question: Is it possible my order could ship before then? I recall that it is. Anyway, I'm going to try to control my frustration level as it slowly rises.

    Hmmm..try to control that *calm before the storm* per se.. :( ;) ...I know this is very frustrating for you...Yes, there is a good chance it could still ship before that date. ;)

    If I were you, (and I'm not sure how they are shipping the 1735)...I would call up Customer Care, and ask them to please switch the Shipping method to Overnight delivery ~ for what has happened..Let them know you were planning/looking forward to your delivery of the 1735, so you could start using and enjoying it. ;) :)

    This can be done, as it was done for me back in January, when they had to cancel and refresh (reorder) my 1530 ~ due to a part being on back order. :cool:

    Let us know what happens...and the best thing is to *just breathe*

    Nah, I honestly feel like the pins and needles are gone. I used 3-5 day shipping, and used the rebate on that.

    It should arrive tomorrow, as I'm not too far from TN. Oh thank God. :)

    Hearing "boxing stage" is amazing. I called 3 times in a row just to hear "boxing". Now I play the waiting game with the actual laptop in near sight. I received free 2 day shipping so I'm expecting it Monday-Wednesday next week.

    I ordered 8/8/ also and heard "testing" this morning. It was like waking up on Christmas and finding presents under that shimmering, beautiful tree!
