    the 120GB 5400 because I plan to get a 64GB SSD as soon as thye are anywhere near reasonable. I think the Sandisk would be the fastest.

    I really think the market for SSD will take off sooner and stronger than we have ever dreamed of. Or that could just be my fantasy. Myself, I have been waiting for about 15 years for these things :)

    i agree with that
    hopefully in 2 years I can get one with SSD
    are SSD drives faster than HDDs?

    yes and more reliable :) but lower capacity though and expensivive :(

    I am going to install a 160gig 7200 RPM drive and I have 500 gig external for the corn

    I bet I could even get away with 32 GB if it were super fast, as I have many external USB WD drives that I could use for data storage.

    I like everything about SSD... QUIET, FAST, low power...QUIET.... RELIABLE, FAST, ETC...
