    I really don't know what's going on.

My order was cancelled and re-orderd before production (standard thing with them I guess) and called to ask the status (because it says it was cancelled on the order status online). He said it was a mistake that the rep called to say it was cancelled. After a while he said it was in production. I called the next day to confirm that it was in production. And they say there's no order in my name. I sent an e-mail today, and I'm just waiting for a replay tomorrow. I hope it explains.

Does anybody know what's happening with my notebook?

if you have an online user account, you can check all the order numbers under your customer number and/or phone number.

also, call your credit card/debit card/whatever card company and verify that the funds are still being held. as long as that hold is there, Dell DOES have an order for you.

call, call, and call again. make them search by your name, your shipping address, you phone numbers, customer numbers, whatever. they DO have the resources to find your order, if one exists. its probably just a computer error, they happen often when you deal with 70,000+ orders a day.

i'm really sorry to hear about this. i hope that this is quickly resolved. just be persistant, and start requesting to speak to supervisors. good luck.
