After three days of owning my Studio 15 I had to send it back for a refund. First the mic and cam would not work, fixed it by re-installing drivers. Then the keys in the middle of the keyboard stopped working unless I really pressed extra hard, maybe due to the keyboard flex which i dis-liked from day 1. Then this morning the keyboard center keys stopped working completely, the lights on the media tray stopped working, the fan would not turn off even after an hour of idle time and a dvd got stuck in the unit. Finally the finger print reader quit too.
Too many problems for a new unit. Dell was great as usual offering a replacement or refund. I took the refund and will re-think what I need to do. This is my first bad machine after buying 6 Dell desktops. I'm disappointed in the build of Studio 15 quality. Maybe I just got a lemon.
