    You got a good deal.

At least compared to what it would cost in Canada. :p

Thats pretty good. Your CPU won't matter much, it should be great.

You got a good deal :lie:

Seriously, I just got a 14z. Differences are: Blue color upgrade, T6500 CPU, added Bluetooth, no media card, 250 GB HD 5400 rpm. Price was about $840 + state tax.

But that was after EPP discount of 7%, and I had a quotation from 3 weeks ago (the price actually went up 7% during that time but they honored the quoted price).

So $570 is a great deal.

    Happy? :)

Well, I really wanted the blue color, but the 900P screen and backlit keyboard was hard to pass up. Since I've heard really good things about the screen. This laptop will be for surfing the net and doing homework pretty much. My desktop computer will be for anything more than that, so i'm really excited about the flush 8 cell battery...

Can anyone comment on the chainlink black? I've heard you either like it or you don't.

For a refurb, you got 3 nice options: the 900p screen, backlit keyboard and 8-cell battery.

The black chainlink color looks OK, but I wish it wasn't glossy (other colors come with a matte finish). One other reason for me is that I have a black work laptop, so I wanted a different color to tell them apart from a distance.

More interested in the design on the wrist area, I'd prefer a matte finish too but the more I think about it, i will probably end up getting a skinit.com design for the top like i do with most of my electronics.
