Had to hack it up to get my vid card to fit. It was okay with the 1.5 core 2 but the 2.0 core 2 would skyrocket up to 200F and shutdown.
It's all good now, I have a new one

I still don't understand why you just didn't return/sell your computer to do the upgrades...you must have spent twice as much in the end...

I probably did but it was too much of a hassle to return it to Dell ... Dell wasn't too happy when I Tried returning it because it was pink. I got the laptop because it was the cheapest with a Core 2 and I needed a laptop because my thinkpad was out of service for a few weeks.
I spent $270 for the T7250, Motherboard and GFX Card and heat sync. Brings me up to around 850 for the laptop.
If I did buy the laptop like this from Dell, I would still have a warranty. Looking back, I should have got the laptop I wanted from Dell to begin with. But this was fun.
I'm planning on selling my old CPU, Motheboard and extra Memory together on ebay. Maybe get $150 for it.
I think my heatsync is broken ...
