Well i ordered a m1530 on the 8th of March(which was a Saturday) with a Debit card that has a $1000 daily spending limit so Dell had a issue with getting the $1000 one day and pulling the last $650 out of my account the second day b/c on dells site when you give them your card info you can tell them if you have a spending limit or not so i chose the $1000 spending limit. But i guess Dell cant Count b/c on the Day i ordered, the next day and monday the 10th b4 i was able to call them about the order they tried to pull the full amount to pay for the laptop
Then they have the aduacity to say its my fault for not telling them i have a spending limit and now my order is delayed and will not be shipping until the 26th it was supposed to be shipped on the 14th
So my question is, is this normal for them to do this

Not Dell's fault at all... next time use a credit card! -
The contents of this thread is a sick joke. How disppointing. I was expecting a good laugh based on the title.

cmon guys give the guy a break :|
-
I'm not getting the joke...

Yes it is their mistake - if you can prove you did what you did then I would demand a coupon or rebate towards another one of Dell's product or else you will no longer be a faithful Dell customer.
You must be willing to give up th 1530 and try another brand for this to work. If you are tied to Dell then keep quiet and enjoy the xps -

Actually it sounds like a little like fraud on your part. If you knew that the card had a spending limit why did you use it. Companies usually like to get their payments in full if you buy a something from them. Can't fault Dell for what happened.

Well i have not had a issue b4 and it cant be fraud if on the checkout screen on Dells Site it asks if you have a spending limit, So how can it be fraud on my part
-
-
Where?
-
I never had the option to pay with 2 credit cards when I ordered.

I think this must be a sick joke
