Well I just installed Halo and it told me that my card only had 8mb...is there anything im suppose to change in bios or any setup so the card uses all the memory for any game. Anything im suppose to do to push the card to the max settings or whatever. Please get back to me.

Well, the intel integrated graphics is supposed to automatically adjust the amount of graphics needed, and I'm not sure a user can set the amount. I will check on this for you.

Make sure you have the most up to date driver installed, and also check out intel.com to see if Dell's driver is as up to date as intel's site.

Also, a small number of games may not be compatible with intel integrated grahpics from what I've heard, but I do not know which games.

Sorry to hear you've encountered this problem. Again, keep in mind that you do have 30 days to return your laptop if it doesn't suit your needs.

I also have another suggestion, try downloading (if you don't own it) the newest Unreal game demo. That is memory intensive, and a friend of mine ran the demo on his notebook with intel integrated graphics and it worked just fine...

if that works, then perhaps Halo may not be compatible yet. I know that Intel tries to update drivers to work with games that have problems.

Also, go to Intel.com, downloads, find graphics, and download the intel video driver for the 855 chipset. This driver appears to be slightly newer than Dell's. See if that works.

Let me know how it turns out.
