    hello
    i have an inspiron 6400. my friend has a vaio-sz340p4 notebook. he has a revocery dvd whitch installs his original operating system plus all the softwares whitch were installed on it from the beginnig such az norton antivirus and vaio recovery tool and... .
    i am searching for a similar program for my notebook. something like vaio revocery tool. a software which makes recovery dvds.
    if you know a program useful for my need, please tell me its name.

    Sony gives you this because they are too cheap to give you a dvd with the windows operating system and system software and they make you make your own disk. Dell gives you those dvds so you dont have to make your own. If you still dont want that, you can try imaging software such as true image.

    you say correct. but installing drivers and sofwares sometime is very time consuming. but a program like that, there is no need to waste time installing drivers and so on. i told it because of this !

    Did you read all of my post? I had said you can get true image to do this, or ghost is another option. Zenworks works best in my opinion, but you need a server to use that. Try true image though, most people like that.
