 This is my first post and i'm excited about being apart of this great community. Its an honor. I have made up my mind and have decided to go with the Dell XPS M1530 laptop. The reason being is because I am a huge fan of the XPS line. I have owned a Dell XPS 400 and just recently purchased a XPS 420 which is the best computer I have ever owned. The overall quality of the XPS is far higher than anything that I’ve seen on any HP, Toshiba, or Sony. Now, what I need is personal professional recommendations on how this machine should be built. This is my first laptop and I want to make the right choice and have no regrets. There isn’t a budget however I don’t want to spend extra money on upgrades that won’t benefit my needs. I overbought on my XPS 420. I could have spent about $400 less and still would have got my dream machine. So, let’s get started. First, let me just say that I am not a high end user. I do not play high intense games. I do not do video rendering or editing and such. I will only be doing minimal multimedia. I will use this for downloading and working with music, storing and working with pictures, managing my finances. I will also not be doing any productivity at all. However, one thing that I will be doing that I feel is pretty demanding is watching movies, especially Blu-Ray. I own three Blu-Ray players currently and this is one reason I am getting this laptop, for the Blu-Ray. I am a huge movie fanatic and am a huge Blu-Ray supporter. The real big problem is, is I don’t want to spend a fortune here however I do want my Blu-Rays to play with no problems at all. So, please help. What config shoud I get and are there any components that I should stay away from on this machine? And any other issues that I should be aware of with this machine? I need all of the help I can get! And it’s GREATLY appreciated.

    Here are my main questions:

1.)Now that you know Blu-Ray is my main use for the laptop, what upgrades would be the best specifically for Blu-Ray?
2.)What benefit does a 7200 RPM Hard Drive have over a 5400 Hard Drive? And will it benefit my needs?
3.)Would the Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 (2.1 GHZ, 800MHZ FSB,3 MB L2 Cache) Processor be able to run everything I need without any issues?
4.)I own Vista Ultimate on my XPS420, should I get that as well on the laptop or is Premium just as good?
5.)I own 4GB on my XPS420 but it only being a 32 OS, does it really make sense to get 4GB when it doesn’t utilize the full 4GB?
6.)What would be the best Bluetooth mouse for this unit?
