Hi, I've never replaced a laptop's hard drive before and I'd really appreciate some help! My laptop specs are as follows:
Dell Studio 1555
P8600 Duo Core 2.40 Ghz Processor
ATI HD Mobility Radeon 4570
4 Gig RAM
Do I need to buy a hard drive specifically for this laptop? If so, can you provide a good link? I live in the UK and googled, but only came to American/Canadian Dell websites and they don't ship globally.
I just want a 320 gig hard drive @ 5400RPM (as cheap as possible).
Hope you can help out! Cheers in advance.

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
Yes, any 2.5", 9.5mm high SATA hard drive should work, including the one linked above.

Good morning/afternoon to one and all..
Please I know its been since March, I am a newbie with little brain or understanding.. And Dell have been like an expense chocolate fire guard...
I have just found this forum and was amazed to read one else in need of help/advise with studio 15.
Difference is my 320gb Drive has failed.......
And am here for looking for a sensible replacement.. and was looking at
Western Digital WD3200BPVT 320GB 2.5" Hard Drive SATAII 5400rpm 8MB Cache - OEM Scorpio Blue
Western Digital WD3200BPVT 320GB 2.5" Hard Drive.. | Ebuyer.com
but someone above suggested the Hitachi drive
Hitachi 320GB 2.5" SATA-II Travelstar Hard Drive - 5400rpm 8MB Cache - Ideal PS3 Upgrade Drive
Hitachi 320GB 2.5" SATA-II Travelstar Hard Drive.. | Ebuyer.com
Which would be the better..
I was also wondering which one QWERTY went for and how they are getting on with what they choice.
Please help as I am now so confused....
