Whats up with that? I was charged 10.50 for the upgrade and I was billed. I know this because I work at Citizens Bank and I called the back room to see what the random 10.50 purchase was and it was labelled "Dell/Vista Upgrade."

Either they are shipping now or they are using our cards fraudulently. I am still in the pending stage. I was told they would not charge until after they are shipped.

if you filled out an app and agreed for vista upgrade redemption then there's nothing wrong with dell charging you for shipping. i'm surprised you haven't paid for the shipping immediately upon request.

I applied for the Express upgrade in late November......

I talked to 3 different dell reps and they all said I would NOT be charged for shipping until it was shipped.

I believe that you paying the shipping cost is part of the Express Upgrade policy.

I am aware of the policy. I agreed to pay it however why is my card being charged when there is no shipped status or tracking number.

i advise others to look at your bank account

With the scale of this operation, and the fact that another company is handling the program, the status page probably isnt a high priority, the fact that you were charged more than likely means its on the way. I wouldnt worry about it.
