I have owned my latitude D800 for over a month now, and I must say it is an utter dissapointment.

The screen exhibits major ghostig while scrolling
Wireless works only when it wants to
    The keyboard already squeeks
Technical support and customer care are virtually non-existent.

Even worse, I conned my dad into buying a D600 about 2 weks ago, and his screen is blurry.

What's even worse, I recommended to a friend to buy a Inspiron 5100, and it arrived DOA. Non-functioning screen! It took over a week for the RMA, and over 2 weeks to completely resolve the issue.

Overall a horrible, horrible experience. Needless to say, they are all going back, and I am buy IBM T41's all around.

Oh well, I know some mods here will say "told ya so".

    I know, I know...

What kind of screen did you have on all three computers? If it was the SXGA+, this is probably the cause of your problem. <g> The WUXGA screens are REALLY cool though.......

just kidding. Sorry for your experience, I've had good experiences and bad experiences with Dell, the hard drive controller on my inspiron 8500 totally quit on me last year after only a year, that's an expensive fix. but I've liked the Inspiron 9100 I have right now.
