Unfortunately I won't be home tomorrow, and that's when the new date of delivery was suddenly changed to.

What will happen if no one is there to take/sign the package? Will they just deliver again monday or do I have to go pick it up somewhere? Anyone know?

UPS, FedEx and DHL has to make a first attempt for delivery and if unable then you can call them up and pick it up at their facility, if you know the claim number. USPS will usually leave you a notice and you can pick it up at post office. They will usually attempt 3 times and if unsuccesful then it's sent back to the business that it came from.

usually, wither you pick it from the warehouse or from the post office. they will leave you a note where you can come and pick it yurself. you could also phone them and tell them you want to come and pick up your machine.

Leave a note specifying that when you will be home for re-delivery OR ask them to hold at the nearest location for you to pick-up. If it's FedEx and you leave the note for them to hold for pickup, you should be able to pick it up on Saturday at their facility.

If you do nothing, they'll try to re-deliver on Monday and Tuesday. After that, they'll hold for a week.

Ah, so it's pretty much standard procedure? I've never ordered anything over like....$50 before, so I wasn't sure.
