    I ordered the Vista Home Premium, $29.00 extra, it's listed on my order..
    1 420-6553 Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic Edition, English

    At the very end of my configuration list it says
    1 310-8627 You have chosen a Windows Vista Basic System.

    I'm not sure which Vista edition i have now.
    Can someone tell me what this means?

    I would call and just confirm that you do have Home Premium, because according to that, it looks like you don't...

    I'd agree... I'm not exactly familliar with Dell Part Numbers but it looks like you have Vista Home Basic there...

    Thanks everyone, I took your advice and called Dell. They were very helpful. So hopefully when I do receive my laptop, which has an August
    8th. ship date, which is sooner then the first ship date they gave me. I will have the Vista Home Premium edition.
