    Yo,

I want to get a 6-cell 53WHr battery for my Dell XPS M1210, and I would like to get some input from you about where to buy from. I live in the UK so delivery might be an issue from outside Europe.

I currently have a 9-cell 85WHr long life battery, but I haven't needed that much battery life recently and all it's doing at the moment is making my notebook heavier. I have checked Dell's UK site and all they have available is the 9-cell. EBay sellers only seem to have the 9-cell in stock too, so I need to try other online stores.

This where you come in! Please can you suggest any sites I can check out that might sell the 6-cell battery?

    Thanks for any help.

this thread will be moved to the dell section soon, they will assist you better

just a tip, make sure you get an original battery from DeLL. Avoid buying aftermarket chinese brands, their safety standards are alot lower.

Yup thats the best thing. Buy from dell but if you can WAIT. Battery prices are VERY high at the moment due to a fire in Korea ( LG PLANT )

to OP: dont buy from the dell website, they usually add on extra $$ on top. Buy it from retail stores, they sell it significantly cheaper

I bought a Dell battery on ebay last summer for my Inspiron 6400. Battery was new, authentic, works great and cost me 50% of the Dell.com price. Buyer's ebay name was "portablecomponents". Just make sure you can get a shot of the battery to check serials for validity.
