i got a dell i6000d a few months ago but when i try to wake it from either stand-by or hibernate, in standby the computer turns on but the screens stays black an di have to just restart the whole computer and in hibernate, it takes about 15-20 mintues to get to the desktop....anyone know why and please do not tell me to reformat...

I've had a similar problem. Whenever I would wake it up from hibernation, my computer would freeze on this white screen. The best cause that I could find was some piece of junkware/software was causing it to hang. If you haven't already, you can try removing all of your junkware and limiting the number of programs that are running.
