What is the best settings for I8KFanGui on the automatic fan control? My laptop seems to be running unusually hot lately so I took it apart and cleaned it out good. I did not remove any of the heatsinks however I did blow them out using compressed air as well as the fans. It did remove a fair amount of dust from the internals however the temperatures seems to go rather high. Upon re-assembly I found my temperature start off at 70C without the fan kicking it. I used I8kfangui to start up the fans and then it dropped quite a bit. Now I have been using automatic fan control and set it up as follows.

    CPU Control:
    38 - Off
    45 - Fan #1 Slow, Fan #2 Off
    55 - Fan #1 and 2 Slow
    65 - Fan #1 Slow, Fan #2 Fast
    75 - Fan #1 and 2 Fast

    GPU Control:
    40 - Off
    50 - Fan #1 Slow, Fan #2 Off
    60 - Fan #1 and 2 Slow
    70 - Fan #1 Slow, Fan #2 Fast
    80 - Fan #1 and 2 Fast

    Any optimizations are appreciated. Thanks.

BTW, My temperatures before starting fan control and dust cleaning were typically CPU at 60C and GPU and 50C. I don't consider that normal. The games were starting to studder and lag at 80C for the GPU.

I'm going to add something here. So far with the above controls I have been able to hold out at CPU 40C and GPU 60C. This is on idle. With gaming I maxed out at about 80C on the GPU but I don't recall the CPU one.

EDIT: Oops. Just got nTune and realized that I8KFanGui may of been 8C low so I told it to add that to whatever readings it gets. The above reading have already been edited and include this variance.
