Has anyone tried this? I tried to install the 64-bit version on Win7 64-bit just now, but got this error:

So is there a digitally signed driver, or if not, how do I turn off driver signature checking? It's not like this is some unreputable driver, so I'm perfectly fine running an unsigned driver.

I actually use it as much for a one-stop temperature monitor as for fan control, so I could find some other program, but I'd like to keep using it if possible.

I have the 32-bit version on my Inspiron 9100 running this under Windows 7 with no errors.

I tried that just now, but it didn't work, either. Are you running Win7 32 bit or 64 bit?

Choosing the advanced startup option "disable digital driver signing enforcement" seemed to work; the first Google result I tried for a long-term solution didn't. Might try again later. But I do have it installed now - I just can't run it without that advanced startup option.

But that brings a new question - is there a way to get it to display in the actual system tray rather than the little box that shows extra icons in Win7? I'll explore a bit myself the next time I'm running Win7.
