I have ad ell inspiron 1720 with vista ultimate x64 SP2, and I'm having problems with digital sign requirements and i8kfan(x64).
The only way I find to work with this program is disabling the requierement when I start windows hitting F8.
I tried with NHC(dell bugfix) and the same problem.
I love how simple is ik8fan, so I wish to keep working with it until a better one appears.

Any solution? Another program to control the fan?
    Speedfan doesn't recognise the fan.

    Thanks in advance.

You can always disable driver signature enforcement at the startup, search for ReadyDriverPlus on google; this allows you to automatically disable driver signing on every boot; though it slows your boot marginally.
