I got a used e1705 for my son couple weeks ago. So, I created my windows account first then I created my son's account. Both of the accounts have I8kfangui running automatically. I8kfangui is setup pretty much identical under both accounts. If I login, the fans kick in at the right temp under I8kfangui. However, when my son logs in, I8kfangui won't control the fans to kick in. CPU and GPU rises to about 50/60 and the fans still won't kick in.

Am I doing something wrong with my son's account?

    Thanks
