The new 06 score is using the free 3DMark which defaults to 1280x854 on my system. The 05 score was at 1028x754, if it makes any difference. EDIT: Both are using driver 8.1.9.8.

    3DMark 05 of 6681 at stock clocks.

Overclocked the highest I got was 7529 but I had considerable artifacts on screen.

Its back to running stock clocks for best battery time.

    3DMark 06 was 3711

    Bjb,

I haven't run ATI tool. But I get no visual artifacts on anything that I have ran so far. I had the same problem on my desktop...I ran ATI tool and it severly underclocked my GPU because of artifacts.

I would suggest using the Xtreme G drivers and detect optimum settings and then raise it a little from there and see what kind of temps and artifacts you get.

I judge artifacts on whether I see them or not. Like I said earlier the AIT tool told me that my 9600 in my desktop had massive artifacts at stock speeds...it took my clock 30mhz down from stock and told me that was the best. Memory was a little lower than that.

I just make sure that I watch my temps in I9kfangui...with my cooler my card never gets above 70C.
