    Hey everyone,

My friend has Inspiron 9400 that's on its last legs, it keeps turning off at random times, graphics on screen sometimes become corrupted. The laptop does not seem to be overheating and the fans are clean.

We've contacted Dell as he has a 3yr Complete care package, he's had the HDD replaced multiple times. The last time he sent in the laptop for serving they returned it with nothing fixed, they said they replaced the fans but the fans are still the original ones as I accidentally scratched the bottom side of the fans and they're the exact same ones. We've requested a new unit or a replacement and they refuse to do anything about it. Is there anything that can be done? We're having trouble with Dell techsupport they don't seem to do anything other than telling us to send it in once again to have the HDD replaced.

Is there anything we can do? Their outsourced tech support is just useless, his 3yr complete care is running out. As of Today there are 30 days left on the warranty.

    I'd appreciate any help!!

I have heard sending an email directly to Michael Dell will get a call from someone here in the US as they take these kinds of problems more serious. Perhaps you can do this?

We're located within Canada, would emailing Michael Dell get any results? This is very annoying for both of us, I helped him finance the laptop and paid nearly 500$CAD for a 3year complete care package yet they're refusing to do any work on the laptop itself.

3 years complete care entitles you to worldwide service. That means you can contact US support and request service. (That is if you think that US service is better)
