    IDT audio on Studio 1555, with windows 7

    I just installed Windows 7 on my laptop, and now I cant get the IDT audio to work. I can't get any of the nifty tools or features, this sux... Is there anything that I can do?

    the sound works fine with the default drivers which win7 installs but i cant install the vista IDT drivers in win7 ,have u done something else??

    I just installed windows 7 and IDT audio driver on my 14z and I also had problem with sound. For some reason the sound would default to headphones. To solve it, if this is your problem, you have to go to control panel, sound and select speakers as default sound.

    Darekd, I tried that on the 1555. For some reason it still wouldn't play from the speakers. Volume Mixer crashed several times, as did WMP when trying to play to it.
