My sister just visited and left her AC adaptor here for her E1505. She has work that needs to be done ASAP and she's 4 hours away.

Is there anything that can be done short of ordering one from Dell? Will a generic one work from circuit city?

It's the 65w two prong model #LA65NS0-00. Looks like it's $79.99 on dell and ships in 1-2 weeks.

    Any thoughts will help.

you can get one from best buy or circuit city that is universal. It will have different ends that can be switched out to match your laptop. I think Targus is the mfr.

You can also get the specific adapters of ebay for much less than dells sells them for.

He has the adapter, but his sister left it with him and she needs an adapter immediately for time-critical work.

ya I meant instead of buying it from dell(if she was considering that) ;)

I've purchased dell power adapters off ebay before and usually got them the next day or the day after.
Oh btw you better tell that sister of yours to get spare or 2 when she get settled with this issue.

Thanks guys, looks like all is good now. The one she picked up is working fine.

MODS: Feel free to change the title to problem solved if you would like.

Well, since she bought another one today, I think that that constitutes a spare ;)
