INSPIRON 1525 COMMOTION OWNERS -- Anyone else got this sweet design?

I love mine so much which is why I was devastated when, after re-formatting, I lost the default Dell wallpapers.

I'd kill to get them back, especially the Commotion pattern since I want my wallpaper and lid design to match (I'm weird like that... hehe).

So any other Inspiron owners out there with this design? Help me out!

 

Did you get that as a refurb from the outlet? I was eyeing a 1525 with a street pattern on it.

 

Nope. Got it brand spanking new. I just messed around with it too much and well... I eventually had to reformat. Can't take it back to to the store as I'm overseas at the moment but still dying to get that pattern back as my wallpaper.

The Street pattern is nice and I wanted to get that initially but when I went to the store, those little white squares on the black background just jumped at me. Trust me, the pictures do not do justice as to how cool the "Commotion" pattern is when you're looking at the real thing.

 

Does it just come on the 1525, or is it one of the ones that comes with all new Dell's?

If I have it on my XPS, I will upload it for you when I get home in the morning. I don't recall seeing it...but I might have it.

 

Thanks! The wallpaper I'm really really looking for looks like the lid design. I've seen other people asking about specific wallpapers which match their lid designs as well so I'm not sure if this is exclusive to the 1525s.

that's the ugliest of the print designs Dell offered. it reminds me of black non-slip tape for the floor.

Haha... I know you've probably heard this before but it looks much nicer in person. Street was my original choice but when I saw this at the store, I just had to get it.

 

lol i'll keep that in mind if i do see it in person. if street was the one with stripes, i liked that one.

Thanks for posting the wallpaper, I also had to format everything and forgot to copy the wallpaper. When I realized I've lost it I went nuts... jajaja

 

You can get it at support.dell.com. Type in your service tag and you'll be able to see all the different stock wallpapers for download in one of the sections.
