I bought my mother a DELL INSPIRON-5748. It came with 8GB of RAM.
I saw the RAM slot located underneath the laptop when I opened the panel.

I tried to see if I can go deeper to open up the laptop and find the 2nd slot but then I got scared half way and started screwing everything back as I didn't wanna break anything on her brand new laptop.

Is it so difficult to open this laptop? where is that 2nd RAM slow available?

Also, this laptop does not have an mSATA slot does it?

PS: The laptop came with a 1 TB WD Blue 5400RPM HDD so I cloned it replacing it with a 750GB WD Black 7200RPM HDD which came with my Alienware 18 as I don't need that hoping to give her as much of a speed boost as I can.
