    Sorry.... meant to say silicone.... not latex.


    I was wondering if anyone was aware of a clear silicone like skin that wraps around the inspiron like the latex skins you get for the i-pods. I can't believe something like this does not exist, but I did a google and can't find anything.

    Kinda like this, except preferably clear, and not one that wraps over the keyboard

    They don't exist for most notebooks because they would constrict the airflow around your laptop and not allow the heat to escape which would damage your system.

    Yup, even if you cut out the space for the vents, it's still basically adding a layer of insulation.
