Hi everyone. I have recently bought the Dell E5550 and I am having problems with background bleeding. It is only visible in dark backgrounds but it is still annoying given the price of the laptop. I never had background bleeding in my other monitors and so I'm wondering how normal this is. I am attaching 2 pictures. The first is in low light conditions and the second is in daylight conditions.

All the 6-bit IPS notebook screens I've owned (Lenovo x220, Zbook 15) and others I have seen suffered from similar bleeding. Seems to be pretty frequent with the recent generations of IPS's.
